In addition to the configurable client and provider fields in NACCRRAware, there are other fields hard coded that the Administrator may want to include in Online Referral Module profiles. These fields can be modified in some ways in ORM to appear differently than the hard coded values, or add to them.
The fields are divided into two categories, linked on the left of the Non-Configuration Fields page.
- Provider: fields specific to providers
- Client: fields specific to clients
Client and Provider fields are divided into groups according to the NACCRRAware data entry screen on which they appear. The links to the different groups (screens) are found at the top of each page. Provider includes links to General, Shifts, Attributes, Center Specifics, FCC Specifics, and Action Log. Client includes links to General, Children, Statistics, Follow Up and Action Log.
Each field can be modified several ways. To modify a field included in an ORM profile, click the field name which opens the Non-Configuration Field page. The field name displayed is how it's hard coded in NACCRRAware. No changes can be made to the English values shown although the field label can be changed at the profile level. For example, if the Administrator wants to change "Street Address" to "Address", that can be done via the display name in the profile when "Street Address" is added to the profile.
Tool Tip: Tool Tips are on screen pop-ups that appear when the client hovers over the field name in the ORM profile. Tool tips are designed to be small snippets of information to provide information about a particular field. It is recommended that the Administrator keep a tool tip to 50 characters or less. To configure a tool tip, enter the desired text in the field. Tool tips configured in the Non-Configurable Fields section (at the database level) are copied into all new profiles created. These can be modified at the profile level which does not affect the tool tips at the database level. If Tool Tips will vary by profile, it's best to configure them at the profile level instead.
More Info: More Info are windows that open when the client clicks a visual symbol (question mark: ) next to the field name. More Info windows are designed so that more information can be provided than in a tool tip. For example, definitions of the types of care in a particular state that a parent may find could be included in the More Info of the Type of Care field. HTML tags can be included in the More Info window so that information can be broken into paragraphs, bulleted lists, and/or hyperlinks can be included. More Info configured in the Non-Configurable Fields section (at the database level) are copied into all new profiles created. These can be modified at the profile level which does not affect the more info at the database level. If More Info will vary by profile, it's best to configure them at the profile level instead.
Translate to Spanish: All field names, tool tips and more info can be translated into Spanish and used in a Spanish-specific profile. When creating an English profile and a Spanish profile, each has a unique profile URL therefore the English profile can be made available while the translation on the Spanish fields occurs.
NOTE: The Administrator does not need to modify any fields not being used in ORM profiles, and the fields do not have to be translated into Spanish to use the English version. Only the fields used in the ORM profile need attention, if at all.
